The Center for Sustainability and Excellence (CSE), a global leader in ESG advisory, is proud to lead the ESG Ratings of companies featured in the Oman Leadership ESG Index, officially unveiled during Oman Sustainability Week (OSW), held from May 11–15, 2025 in Muscat.
This prestigious Index, introduced as part of the OSW Awards, showcases the top-performing organizations from Public and Private sectors in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices across Oman.
CSE has been a strategic partner of Oman Sustainability Week for over five years, creating the ESG Ratings on behalf of BEAH.

CSE utilized its globally recognized ESG Rating Methodology, aligned with the following leading global frameworks:

- CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive)

The evaluation was based on publicly available sustainability and ESG data and focused on:

- Governance and Ethics
- Sector-Specific Material Issues
The Index as a Benchmark for ESG Leadership
The Oman Leadership ESG Index serves as more than a ranking—it is a strategic tool for ESG transformation. It is designed to:
- Promote ESG integration in the corporate sector
- Encourage transparency and sustainability reporting
- Support Oman Vision 2040 sustainability objectives
- Provide benchmarks for investors, regulators, and stakeholders
The assessment relied on ESG reports, annual filings, and corporate disclosures. Special attention was given to sectoral materiality, risk management, and climate strategy, ensuring a rigorous, transparent, and context-specific evaluation process.
Each sector’s top performers were honored during the OSW Awards ceremony, where they were recognized for excellence in corporate sustainability leadership based on CSE’s independent ratings.
